- Enlargement of fitment ends for splining is carried out by a process known as upsetting. This provides continuity of grain flow which ensures a stronger structure than alternative methods
- Heat-treated in computer-controlled furnaces and quenching tanks, ensuring constant performance and superior memory
- Shot Peened (stress relieved) for better load deflection and longevity
- Scragged then pre-set so that spring is at zero deflection while accepting full vehicle weight. This means the torsion bar is under a lot less stress and therefore prolongs the life
