Tri State Safaris operates 4WD tours Australia wide in our Mitsubishi Canter All Terrain Warrior 4WD coach. The vehicle is only 12 months old but has always been in need of a better ride. We recently gave the job of making our Warrior ride better to Ken O'Keefe at Ultimate Suspension, with our only requirement a simple one to make the vehicle one of the most comfortable vehicles to travel in on both highway and off-road use.
The Ultimate Suspension did a custom and complete upgrade of the original suspension which included re-working the front and rear springs, matching shock absorbers to the springs and adding a rear sway bar.
The improvement to the highway ride was noticeably better, with the bump and chop gone. The vehicle now drives through curves without the old body lean that reminded one of riding a motor cycle.
Once off-road the difference was nothing short of remarkable. The vehicle now travels over corrugations and wash-outs as if they weren't there, with rough terrain smoothed out beyond all expectations. Our passengers all comment about the comfortable ride. In difficult terrain the vehicle displays plenty of wheel articulation, driving over some obstacles that many other traditional 4WDs would baulk at.
The Ultimate Suspensions upgrade of our Warrior has been a huge success. In all of my years of 4WDing experience I have never seen such a remarkable change in a vehicles ability to traverse difficult terrain in complete comfort.

I did put the Warrior through it's paces last week in some the areas I use for 4WD training, and I was amazed at how sure-footed and comfortable it was to drive. The change has been remarkable. 4X4 Australia want the story as soon as I get back from LA, so will make sure you get a copy of the story. I may even call for some technical info first.
